Leasing a scooter

On this page we will explain everything about scooter leasing. Buying a scooter is a big expense. We are aware that not everyone can afford this. That is why Scooter Zone Curacao has set up a lease plan so that you can still ride a new scooter without having to pay it in one go. With scooter leasing you pay a fixed amount monthly. The installment amount depends on the scooter you choose. All lease contracts have a duration of 12 months.

How does the scooter lease work

On our website you can easily search the scooter that you want to lease. Of course, you can also visit our physical store on F.D.Rooseveltweg 425-nst. On every scooter page there is a “Lease a scooter” button that you can press.
Hereafter you will be taken to a new page where you can enter your contact information and immediately request the lease.

You will receive the lease contract by e-mail. This must then be signed and returned with the additional documents requested. This is also possible by e-mail. When your application is complete, it will be processed within 48 hours.
When the request has been approved by the leasing company, we will notify you by e-mail.  As soon as it is received by us, we will order (if necessary) and make the scooter ready for use. If you have opted to pick-up the scooter yourself, you will receive a date and time to do so. If delivery is chosen, we will contact you to set a time and date for delivery.

Benefits of leasing a scooter

Leasing a scooter with us means that you pay a fixed amount per month and that the scooter is maintained for an entire year, is insured and that the road tax is paid. At the end of the term, the scooter must be returned, and a new scooter can then again be leased for a duration of 12 months.

Conditions

To be able to lease a scooter you have to be at least 21 years old and have a fixed income of at least Nafl.1500,- per month.

 
Application

Three results are possible with the lease application:

1. The scooter lease request has been rejected. We will then contact you about this. This means that unfortunately you cannot lease a scooter with us.
2. The scooter lease request is being further investigated. We cannot immediately communicate the result, which means that you have to wait a little longer for approval or rejection.
3. The scooter lease request has been approved. In that case, we can congratulate you on your new lease.
   Unfortunately, we cannot always proceed with delivery immediately after final approval because some models and options have a certain delivery time. You will of course be kept informed of this.

Choose the desired scooter and select “Lease a scooter ” and enter your contact details. You will receive the lease contract by e-mail. The lease application is submitted as soon as it has been signed and returned with all documents requested. You will know the result within 48 hours. If the result is positive, your order will be immediately prepared and delivered as soon as possible.
